In 2016, we the Spirit prompted us to reconsider how we worship. We pushed our alternative service to 5 p.m., making it possible to worship together outside of Sunday morning. We invested in lights and sound, because we believe God is an artist, and our worship should be as beautiful as it is meaningful. We created liturgy that includes Holy Communion every week, because we trust God's promised day is coming, the day when we are fed all together at Christ's table, and practice for that day is helpful. And we added time and space for children, because Jesus says they're important, and we think they're fun.
We keep learning as we go, and are grateful y'all show up every week to learn with us. We are young, old, and every age in between. We are cradle Christians, and brand new believers. Our worshipping community is growing, moving, changing every week. If you're new, you'll fit right in.
So, get in here. Let's Gather together.
Village Church is part of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. Village is a family of faith actively shaped by the life of Christ to love one another, transform our communities, and serve the world.
We believe all people are created in the image of God, so we practice the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people in leadership and marriage. We believe “all” really means all, and we look more like the body of Christ when we’re all gathered around the table.
